Ed Zink, owner of Mountain Bike Specialists and Durango native has been a part of the Durango cycling community for 43 years. He has coordinated dozens of races, including the World Championships in 1990, the annual Iron Horse Bicycle Classic (now in its 41st year,) and several NORBA Nationals. We are here to provide any information regarding any of these events or training programs.

Iron Horse Bicycle Classic Q&A Forum 2/23/2012-

Gaige Sippy the Director of the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic will answer questions about the IHBC on Thursday February 23rd from 6:30 until 7:30p.m.  The forum will be held at the Durango Rec Center in the Eolus Room.

This forum is for people who have questions about the 2012 events including the McDonalds Citizen 50-mile Tour, the Durango Coca Cola Road Race, the Durango Mountain Resort Quarter Horse, the Morehart Murphy Subaru Criterium, the Mountain Bike Specialists mountain bike race and the BP Time Trial.

 This will be the 41st year for the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic which is held every Memorial Day weekend (May 26-29).  The tour is sold out as well as most of the racing categories for the race to Silverton.  The Quarter Horse, mountain bike race, crit and time trial are open for more registration.
